Why support us?
At Norfolk Family Carers, we rely heavily on grants, funding and donations to help us support family carers in Norfolk. Our help can make a big difference to someone who is looking after a relative and needs extra support to continue in their caring role.
No gift is too small to make a lasting difference – we are grateful for every act of generosity and every penny we receive.
A small contribution might allow us to support a husband caring for his wife at the end of her life, to help a daughter – new to caring – to understand about her rights as a carer at work and find out about respite, or to help a young adult carer enjoy some of the experiences he or she may miss out on because of his or her caring role.
How to leave a gift in your will
In order to leave a legacy to Norfolk Family Carers, you will need to arrange for it to be written into your will:
This means making a gift of the remainder of your estate once all other bequests, debts and inheritance taxes have been paid.
This is any gift of money you wish to make where the actual amount to be donated is stipulated in your will.
This is a document containing an alteration or addition to your existing will.
Whichever method you use it is vital to specify Norfolk Family Carers, registered charity number 1155684, otherwise your bequest may go elsewhere.
